I'm sorry that you've been having a hard time getting your preferred animals as patronus, but maybe that's the thing about patronuses and wands (and houses to a certain extent) you just can't choose them. Try not to get disappointed if your favorite spell is not present, we have around 20 spells to have fun with which is more than I even expected the game would have and 3 of them are even the unforgivable curses!įirst of all, let me show you some solidarity because I have no idea why your first comment is getting downvoted. I would personally love to see Arania Exumai but given that it’s specifically for Acromantulas and nothing else, I’m not keeping my hopes up. Many hope the Patronus charm is in the game as an example. ![]() They seem pretty intent that any combat spell should work against several enemies or any non-combat spell should help us with more than one puzzle or situation in the open world. The books and the movies introduced us to many spells that are uniquely created to combat or achieve one specific effect and it makes sense they wouldn’t waste development time to include spells that wouldn’t benefit us besides one single encounter. ![]() The gameplay showcases so far has put a heavy emphasis on a spell’s value in terms of it’s use to both combat enemies and explore the world.
